BECOME A MEMBER
Thank you for your interest in Gallery Fifty-Five. Gallery Fifty-Five is a non-profit cooperative of artists who work together to operate the gallery. When we fill positions, we strive to keep a balance among mediums, styles and membership types.
There are three types of Memberships:
- Full Membership: $80 rent and two 7-hour shifts per month
- Half Membership: $130 rent and one 7-hour shift per month
- Non-Working Membership: $180 rent per month
All members receive 85% of the sales of their work. There is no other compensation.
There is a $100 non-refundable joining fee, due with the first month’s rent and due before your work can be displayed in the gallery.
New membership requires a minimum six-month commitment.
To apply for membership, please have ready your resume, artist statement and five good images representing your primary medium. For a second medium, you may submit five additional images.

Please note that we do not resell art, nor do we take art on consignment. You must be a member or guest artist to sell in the gallery.

Are you a member of Gallery Fifty-Five and would like to be the featured artist for a month? Gallery Fifty-Five will market you and your work in news media, in our newsletter, website and social media, and honor you at our First Saturday reception. There is no fee. BE A GUEST ARTIST
We are looking for regional artists, both 2D and 3D, to complement our gallery offerings. Gallery Fifty-Five will advertise your guest residency for one month at the gallery in news media, in our newsletter, website and social media. The cost to you is $80 for the month plus a commission of 30% on your sales. To apply, please submit here.
