Bronze sculptor Allen Malaise is Gallery 55’s guest for July. Allen is an avid outdoor and wildlife enthusiast and it shows in his beautiful and realistic sculptures. From an early age, his frequent trips to the woods afforded him the hands-on experiences of nature and kindled his passion of becoming a wildlife artist. Also featured in July is jeweler Michele Applebee. Her work comments on the natural world and the seasons: sun on the lake, mountain ash berries in fall and the deep blue sky of a winter are a few of her inspirations.
View Allen’s and Michele’s work and the work of over twenty regional artists at Gallery 55 in the month of July. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
You are invited to attend a reception for the artists on First Saturday, July 3, 4-7 pm. At the reception we will be serving wine with Covid-19 mitigation protocols in place.
