December at Gallery 55

Our special guest artist for December is painter Dave Thomas from Boise and McCall. His free-
flowing abstractions on canvas and Yupo burst with energy in a freedom of expression inspired by his teen years surfing and sailing the Santa Cruz California. Since moving to the Mountain West in 1976, his paintings may also reference Western open spaces and big skies. His work has been shown in galleries from the West to the East Coast. Our featured gallery member for December is Jane Cropp. She is exhibiting a series of paintings inspired by a mule packing trip on the Big Creek trail within the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness. Her paintings of the mule train in her signature dramatic landscapes are striking and appealing to anyone who appreciates our wilderness areas in Idaho. Join us for a reception on First Saturday, December 2, 4-6:30 p.m

View Dave’s and Jane’s work and the work of over twenty regional artists at Gallery 55 during the month of December. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
