In March, the gallery will host an exhibit by the newly formed Educational Theatre of Idaho. The nonprofit was created to shape students into pioneers of the future through the performing arts. The exhibit will include theatre set design, costume design, props, masks, set decorations, scripts and items for sale to benefit the nonprofit. Our reception on First Saturday, March 4, 4-7 pm, will be a chance for you to meet Dawn Kolden, the founder of the nonprofit, and others with the organization and find out more about Educational Theatre of Idaho. Linda Moyer will play live music from shows that Educational Theatre of Idaho will produce.
Michael Anderson remains our guest through mid-March with his ceramic art inspired by Alaskan wildlife. And award-winning painter Valeria Yost is our newest member. If you haven’t taken in her awesome paintings, then please come by for the reception or stop by any time.
View the exhibit by Educational Theatre of Idaho and Michael’s and Valeria’s work and the work of over twenty regional artists at Gallery 55 in the month of March. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
