Michael Anderson returns as our guest from Cordova, Alaska, with all new ceramic art inspired by Alaskan wildlife. His work is highly collectible, so you don’t want to miss seeing it. During the month of February gallery member Theresa Burkes will be also be featured. Her art includes encaustic painting (painting with beeswax) and prints made using various printmaking techniques. Finally, award-winning painter Valeria Yost will be joining the gallery in February. Her subjects range from horses to the wildlife that surrounds her Idaho home to native American themes and abstract design.
Join us for a reception on Saturday, February 4, 4-7 pm., with acoustic music by local singer-songwriter Landon Vance. Winter Carnival will be going on, so there will be lots to do in McCall.
View Michael’s, Theresa’s and Valeria’s work and the work of over twenty regional artists at Gallery 55 in the month of February. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
