October at Gallery 55

We’re ready for fall! Welcome Alexa Rose Foundation Grant winner Lorelle Rau to our gallery this October. Lorelle is an accomplished collage artist. For her visit with the gallery, Lorelle has composed brilliant landscapes with cut found papers that add another layer of meaning, patterns, photos, maps, metallics and other paper materials buried within. Another landscape artist, Jane Cropp, will be returning to the gallery in October. Many of you may remember her fabulous acrylic paintings, inspired by her years of working for the Forest Service in Idaho, Colorado and New Mexico.

On October 8, 4-7 p.m., we will hold a special reception for Lorelle, Jane and our member artists. We hope you will join us.

View the work of our guest and new members and the work of more than 20 regional artists at Gallery 55 every day in October. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.

Covid mitigation measures are in place for your safety. Please follow the guidance of Central District Health
