The Open Range Band is playing for Art in the Courtyard art show on August 28, 11-1! The band began almost 10 years ago with Annie Nies playing mandolin and Irwin Mulnick on guitar just for fun. Jeff Box on bass joined the band 4 years ago. Because of the differences in music preferences, each band member brings a diverse style of music. Annie sings more folk and bluegrass, Jeff, a music historian, is a lover of quirky past hits and with Irwin, just about anything goes. Ranging from Gillian Welch and Bob Dylan, to the Kinks and Gnarles Barkley, this band has something for everyone..
