We have two guest artists in July! Local sculptor Allen Malaise and Boise digital/multi-media artist Cindi Walton. Allen is an avid outdoor and wildlife enthusiast and it shows in his beautiful and realistic bronze sculptures. From an early age, his frequent trips to the woods afforded him the hands-on experiences of nature and kindled his passion of becoming a wildlife artist. Cindi spends time, when not in her studio, in the wild places of Idaho that inspire her. She works in pencil, charcoal, acrylics, watercolor/gouache and digitally, with an iPad and Apple Pencil, whatever the project calls for. Also, please join us in welcoming White Bird, Idaho, jeweler Margareta Lipinski to our gallery. You will love her innovative work with precious metals and gems.
On July 9, 4-7 p.m., we will hold a special reception for our guests and the more than twenty regional artists who are members of our gallery with live music by local band Open Range. We hope you will join us.
View our guests’ work and the work of our artists at Gallery 55 every day in July. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
