Eagle and McCall artist Dave Thomas is our guest at Gallery 55 through the month of August. Dave’s work is minimalist, abstract or figurative and definitely expressive. Be prepared to engage with his drawings and paintings that may express his love of walks with his puppy Kate or just his love of the materials he works with. Our featured member artist for August is metal sculptor David Armstrong, a student of form, function and the importance of the evolution of life and matter to our culture. His sculptures represent positive alternatives of reality, future improvements on life and matter.
We are open 11-5, seven days a week, through August. There will be no opening reception for August. However, we will give you opportunities to meet our featured and guest artists on the gallery’s lakeside porch and lawn: David Armstrong on Saturday, August 1, 1-3, and Dave Thomas on Monday, August 17, 1-3, or by appointment.
