Mixed media artist Amy Gilles’ guest stay at Gallery 55 has been extended! Her exhibit of experimental paintings using ink and water was created during the pandemic lockdown last year. The paintings invite us to shift between the micro and the macro, much as the pandemic is both personal and global. Also, we’re holding a special Labor Day Weekend Sale, Friday, September 3rd, through Monday, September 6th. Six of our artists are participating in a 15% off sale of all of their work in the gallery: ceramicist Julie Meikle, western painters Debra Bruner, Mary Butler and Lynn McConnell, ceramicist Alan Giltzow and photographer Connie McClaran. We’ll be holding a reception on Saturday, September 4, 4-7 pm, but come in any time during business hours that weekend to take advantage of the sale.
View Amy’s work and the work of over twenty regional artists at Gallery 55 in the month of September. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
You are invited to attend a reception on First Saturday, September 4, 4-7 pm. At the reception we will be serving wine with Covid-19 mitigation protocols in place.
