We have a special treat for our First Saturday Reception in March, a presentation from collage artist Thea Belecz called “Patterns in Nature.” Ms. Belecz observes the “repeating patterns in nature wherever she goes and records those patterns with her camera and sketch book.” Those recordings then become essential material for her artwork, as she references or wholly incorporates them into fantastical works on fiber or paper. Visit with Thea and view her art and the art of over twenty regional artists on March 7, 4-7 p.m., with complimentary wine and appetizers. Thea’s presentation will begin at 5:00 p.m.
