Art on the Lake: It’s crazy spring weather, but the trend is warming. Yes, think positive! Celebrate the return of sunny days at our First Saturday reception on May 5th, 4-8 pm. Watch the lake thaw and party with us. Enjoy appetizers, wine by Bistro 45 and music by Mike Rutledge in a gallery setting. Aptly-named Lauren Kistner Day is our sunny guest artist for May and you will love her nature-inspired textural mixed-media paintings.
More on Lauren: She is an Idaho native inspired by Idaho’s landscapes and geothermal activities, topography, and other natural phenomena. In 2005 she received a BFA in Painting and Photography at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle,Washington, and has been actively researching and exploring her career for over ten years. She has had the honor of becoming an Artist in Residence Fellow with Boise Department of Arts and History, contributed to the city’s collection of public art, and won awards from national juried exhibitions. Her works can be found in private and public collections across the United States.
