Photographer Tim James Bower will be Gallery 55’s guest artist for June. This is Bower’s second guest stay at the gallery, having been a guest in 2023. He specializes in low-fidelity photography combined with modern editing options, merging the artistic imperfections of analog photography with the precision possible with digital tools. The result is an invitation into a moody visual world that is both familiar and dreamlike.
Please join us for a reception to celebrate the work of Tim James Bower on Saturday, June 7, 4-6:30 p.m., with live music by Mountain Fever (aka Bonnie and Jon Glick).
Also, on June 7, our new upstairs neighbor at 311 E Lake Street, Tracy Holmes Fine Art, will celebrate its opening with a ribbon cutting at 5:00 pm. Come by for the reception at Gallery 55 and a companion reception at Tracy Holmes Fine Art with ribbon cutting.
