May at Gallery 55

We are featuring two artists in May, Valeria Yost from Princeton, Idaho, and local artist and gallery member Sharon Herther. Valeria is a nationally-known painter working in acrylics, watercolor and scratch board. She has earned awards from many US shows in places ranging from Prescott, Arizona, to Paso Robles, California, to Charleston, South Carolina. Some of her favorite subjects are horses and the landscapes and wildlife of Idaho. Sharon Herther is well-known for her wonderful Idaho landscapes in watercolor and acrylic. She has been awarded a number of public art projects, including interpretive signs for the Ponderosa State Park, Mission State Park and Bruneau Sand Dunes and the Discovery Maps for McCall and Twin Falls.

Please join us for a reception to celebrate the work of Valeria Yost and Sharon Herther on Saturday, May 3, 4-6:30 p.m., with live music by Bob Bryan and Pete Bride.
