Our guest artist for October is award-winning mixed media sculptor and arts educator Sue Latta. Sue Latta’s background includes multiple artist residencies plus grants from the Idaho Commission on the Arts, the Boise City Arts Commission, the Alexa Rose Foundation. Sue’s Sculpture Studio in downtown Boise is a popular destination for workshops on welding, woodworking and other artistic disciplines. For her exhibition at Gallery 55, Sue’s wall hanging relief sculptures employ photographic image and text transfers on resin, steel, wood and paper in striking visual art with deep content.
Join us for a reception on First Saturday, October 5, 4-6:30 p.m., with live music by Annie Nies and Jeff Box.
