Attend a Plein Air Paint Out with Idaho painter Mary Butler at a close by McCall location. Class size is limited to five people. Attendees must provide their own transportation and paint equipment. All levels are welcome. There is no fee. Mary will be available to discuss her painting processes and to comment on work as requested.

About the Instructor:

Mary was born in Idaho and was raised in Bliss in a strong homesteading family. After studying art at the University of Idaho, she received a nursing degree from Boise State University. She continued her art studies with classes, workshops and private classes experimenting with different mediums and has been using oils the past ten years. Her art reflects her love for her heritage and Southwest Idaho.

Mary’s art can be found at Gallery Fifty-Five in McCall and the Art Source Gallery in Boise. She is a member of the Plein Air Painters of Idaho and is a past President of the Idaho Watercolor Society. Her work has been shown in many regional shows, including the Zions Bank Show, the Sun Valley Arts and Craft Show, the Ellensburg Western Art Show and the Art & Soul of Magic Valley Show. She has won awards for the past two years at Baker City’s Little Big Show.
