ARTIST STATEMENT
I have been painting and drawing my entire life and it is what defines me as a person. It is my passion, and while I have strayed from it at times, while raising my son and working in Natural Resources, I have always returned more determined than ever to discover new ways of expressing myself on canvas.
My work has evolved from painting only what I see, to adding color and drama into scenes. I take my inspiration from the outdoors, and my many years of living and exploring in Colorado, New Mexico and Idaho. My hope is that when you look at my art you can recall a past or envision a future outdoor experience.
