David Armstrong’s bronzes transform reality into elegant forms. He has been an artist and a student of form and function since the early sixties while earning his degrees in architecture at Idaho State University. History and the evolution of all life and matter is so important to our culture as we know it. Dave has always respected that phenomenon but has always wanted to take positive steps forward to improve the status quo. His sculptures show slight alternatives of reality as they embody positive modifications that attempt to improve what we see as a given. For his art, there is no question, it’s about an all-encompassing positive and creative energy to subtly change reality.
